COVID-19 testing has become an important part of any overall wellness program. Yet not all tests are equal. At Gentera Center for Precision Medicine, we offer a group of curated tests specifically designed for your needs.
These scientifically valid tests are tailored to your requirements, and are available for individuals and groups or organizations.
The tests we offer target different viral markers to give precise and actionable information about your COVID-19 status.
We offer two types of COVID-19 diagnostic tests to our patients
RT-PCR stands for “Real-Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction.” These COVID-19 test looks for the actual presence of RNA from the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19. This means it’s testing for active viral infection. This test is often required for travelers.
Highlights
Results take just a few hours. same day results are available if you are sampled before 2 p.m.
This test checks for the proteins produced by the SARS-COV-2 virus that live on its surface. It uses a simpler molecular-action protocol that allows for rapid processing.
Results take: 15 to 30 minutes.

COVID-19 antibody test can tell you whether you were infected with COVID-19 in the past or produced antibodies in response to a vaccine. Individuals may wish to have antibody testing on a regular basis to better understand their potential risk of becoming sick with COVID-19.
How do COVID-19 antibody tests work and what do they indicate? These two COVID-19 antibody tests investigate whether the immune system has produced antibodies to COVID-19, indicating someone was recently infected, exposed or responded to a vaccine. Research has not yet clarified how long antibodies remain in the system after infection, exposure or vaccination.
Note: Antibody testing is not considered a reliable method for determining whether someone has been exposed to COVID-19 and can infect others. Individuals to do not usually develop detectable antibodies until at least 3 to 5 days after COVID-19 exposure or infection.
The presence of antibodies does not mean that you cannot contract COVID-19. It means that you are far less likely to contract the virus; if you do become contract the virus, you are less likely to have a moderate or severe case of COVID-19 (you are more likely to only become mildly ill).
Individuals with COVID-19 antibodies appear to be less likely to spread COVID-19 to others if they come in contact with the virus. However, research on reducing transmission is still ongoing.
We offer two types of COVID-19 antibody tests to patients:
Gentera’s COVID-19 Rapid IgM/IgG Antibody test is manufactured in the U.S. by Ray Biotech. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave this test authorization for distribution under Emergency Use Authorization.
This test looks for IgM antibodies, which are short-term antibodies, as well as IgG antibodies, which are long-term antibodies.
Results take: 15 minutes
Gentera’s COVID-19 Dried Blood-Spot Serology Test is manufactured in TKTK by TKTK.
This test compares the sample against four known COVID-19 antigens, which provides more information about infection status than the IgM/GgG Rapid Antibody test.
Results take: 36 hours
